Associate Dentist

Passionate, empathising, and extremely personable associate dentist, Shrikesh Kotecha affectionately known as ‘Shrik’ endeavours to create beautiful smiles with a dedication to providing a pain free and enjoyable patient experience.

Shrik has over 24 years’ experience in general practice and truly cares about his dental patients, placing their comfort and satisfaction above all else. He takes the time to get know his patients individually to offer tailor made solutions and personalise the dental experience taking the fear and intimidation out of dentistry. He has also been a Dental Phobia Certified Dentist and has treated hundreds of anxious/phobic patients.

He has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, tooth whitening and smile makeovers and is known for his gentle laid back chair side manner especially when treating nervous patients.

Since his graduation from the prestigious Guy's Dental Hospital in London in 2000 where he was awarded the Alfred Woodhouse Prize for Dental Public Health Studies, he has stayed at the forefront of the latest advances in dentistry by attending conferences and postgraduate courses across the world. These include a one-year training programme at the Eastman Dental Institute in London leading to a Certificate in Restorative Dentistry and The Restorative Course (Smile Design) at The Centre for Advanced Dental Education in Manchester. Shrik has also undergone extensive training in cosmetically focussed orthodontics including Invisalign Go, ClearSmile Fixed Braces, ClearSmile Aligners and Quick Straight Teeth.

Shrik Kotecha has been a ‘Gold’ member of the British Dental Bleaching Society and has been trained by some of the leading experts in the field of tooth whitening using a number of different whitening systems including Enlighten, Boutique and Zoom and has completed over 500 whitening treatments in his career.

Shrik's dedication to his patients has been rewarded by being a finalist in the esteemed Dentistry Awards for the category of 'Best Young Dentist' for two consecutive years in 2009 and 2010.

As you can tell, Shrik is very passionate about dentistry! It gives him immense satisfaction to help patients with their dental needs using a wide range of modern techniques and treatments. He particularly enjoys treating nervous patients and goes to great lengths to put everyone at ease to ensure a comfortable dental experience. His philosophy is to help patients to gain optimum dental health. To Shrik, the best thing about dentistry is meeting and interacting with patients.

In 2023, Shrik joined a team of volunteer dentists with SmileStar Charity in Kenya providing dental care to disadvantaged communities and raised over £5000 to donate food hampers to the local community. Closer to home, he also volunteers regularly at the Leicester South Foodbank and supports a number of charitable organisations.

Outside of work, Shrik is married to Lina and has two daughters, Siyana and Anya and a lot of his spare time is spent with his family. Shrik is our ‘DJ dentist’ as he also presents a reggae radio show on a local radio station in Leicester-Radio2Funky 95FM/DAB and also has his own YouTube channel. He is an avid collector of vinyl records he enjoys travelling and has been to many parts of the world including the Caribbean, America, and Europe.

Consultant Orthodontist

Sarah studied and qualified in dentistry from Guy’s Hospital in Kings College London in 2004.  Sarah was keen to progress into higher learning and secured her postgraduate orthodontic speciality training at the Eastman Dental Hospital in London. During which time she completed her masters in Orthodontics Intercollegiate Membership from the Royal College of Surgeons England in 2010 enabling her to enter the Specialist List.

Subsequently in 2012 Sarah further trained to become a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, which granted the ability to fulfil the position of Consultant Orthodontist at Northampton General Hospital.

Sarah joined our practice in 2013 and has been providing orthodontic treatment to our patients ever since. She is also a lead consultant in Orthodontics and Governance Lead for the Maxillofacial Unit at Kettering General Hospital (KGH). Within these settings she provides care for the most complex orthodontic concerns including combined oral surgery and orthodontics, cleft palate care, provision of aesthetic fixed braces (ceramic/metal), Invisalign and mini screws (infinitas).

Mrs Meadows is part of the British Orthodontic Society, the Consultant Orthodontic Group, is external advisor for the LDC and Chairs the Local Orthodontic Committee. She attends the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire Clinical Effectiveness Committee and is an Educational Supervisor for Junior Dental Core trainees and an Orthodontic Registrar.

Mrs Meadows has presented her research at the British Orthodontic Conference and published articles in peer reviewed journals.

Outside of work she enjoys travel, sport and reading. She is married and has two young boys with whom she loves to spend time with.

General Dentist

Roshni Qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2017 and has since spent her time practising in both NHS and Private Dental Practices. Since qualifying Roshni has continued to develop professionally by attending post graduate courses enabling her to provide patients with the highest quality of care.

Roshni has the desire to give patients confidence in their smiles. Her holistic approach to dentistry enables her to achieve this effectively. In addition to general dentistry, Roshni has special interests in cosmetic dentistry, endodontics and facial rejuvenation. In her spare time Roshni spends most of her time caring for her daughter, be it outdoors come rain or shine and baking!
